“ Spinghar Shinwari is a reasonable family restaurant situated on the main road near the entrance of Gulberg Green. The approach is easy and there is ample parking space in a vacant plot near the restaurant. There's a guard deputed to look after the parked vehicles. The Second Wife restaurant is on the left side of Spinghar Shinwari. You can sit in the Spinghar Shinwari or in the Second Wife restaurant and order both. The ambiance is good for a Shinwari restaurant or if you compare it with other Shinwari restaurants in the town the ambiance is definitely better. You can sit indoors or outdoors. There's a covered area where you'll find Charpaiis and wooden phatta with pillows and bolsters. You've different choices to make yourself comfortable. I normally prefer to select the meat myself and get it chopped under supervision. They normally take around 70 to 80 min to cook the shinwari karahi. It was very nice and the meat was very tender and well cooked. The taste was very good and was comparable to Purana shinwari and Aseel Shinwari. The service was satisfactory. It's slightly pricier than other Shinwaris. If you want better quality food and better service you should be there at 1900 hours(sooner the better) esp on weekends. If you love lamb meat then you must visit this restaurant. Near the entrance you'll see a gentleman standing on the rostrum his name is Mr Manzur he's very cooperative and will guide you rightly. ”

The experience was equally pleasant and added a traditional Pashtun flavor to the evening. I ordered their signature Kabuli Pulao, and it was absolutely delightful. The aroma alone was enough to build anticipation, and the taste did not disappoint. The rice was cooked to perfection — soft yet firm — and the balance of spices was just right. The tender meat on top, generously portioned and well-cooked, added richness to the dish, while the sweet touch of raisins and carrots gave it that authentic Afghan taste. The environment was relaxed and family-friendly, and the open seating setup added a cultural charm to the meal. The service was efficient and the staff polite and accommodating. Overall, Spin Ghar Shinwari is a great place if you're craving flavorful, traditional dishes in a peaceful setting.
